The AC2 is a perception solution from the Active Camera series, designed for robotic operation. As the industry’s first integrated super-sensor system that combines a fully solid-state dToF LiDAR, stereo RGB cameras and IMU, the AC2 provides highly accurate depth, image, and motion data—either independently or in fusion. It supports a wide range of applications, including embodied intelligence, robotic arms, industrial equipment, and digital twin modeling, enabling precise motion capture, pose recognition, 3D modeling, and localization in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Through a robust AI-ready ecosystem, AC2 also provides developers with a rich set of tools and algorithm resources to address cognitive challenges in robotic manipulation, improve development efficiency, and accelerate the commercialization of innovative products.

Human-like Stereo BaselineBy integrating fully solid-state dToF LiDAR with multiple sensors, AC2 delivers 3D spatial perception and 6-DoF motion data through hardware-level sensor fusion. It achieves stable ±5 mm perception accuracy across the full range*, and when combined with 1600 × 1200 high-resolution RGB imaging, precisely reconstructs 3D details and detects small objects—helping robots overcome challenges in fine manipulation tasks.
AC2 features an ultra-wide 120° × 90° field of view, delivering a consistent view in both fused perception and single-sensor modes such as dToF, stereo, or RGB, offering over 70% improvement compared to traditional 3D cameras.
Thanks to RoboSense’s multi-sensor, chip-level hardware synchronization technology, AC2 achieves fused perception synchronization precision of less than 1 ms, enabling precise alignment across multiple information streams. In addition, the global shutter effectively eliminates intra-frame rolling shutter artifacts, further enhancing synchronization accuracy and ensuring smooth, fluid operation.

AC2 is easy to deploy, featuring a wear-resistant glass cover and compact dimensions of L102 × H32 × D45(mm), allowing effortless integration into narrow spaces such as humanoid robot faces, robot dog heads, and robotic arm end-effectors. With a 65mm human-eye-like stereo baseline, AC2 is designed to process visual data in a way that aligns with human visual processing, reducing discomfort during remote operation.

AC2 resists environmental light interference, maintaining stable performance in bright sunlight, low-light, and alternating light conditions. Even under extreme illumination of 100 klux, it preserves accurate ranging and measurement precision. AC2 also overcomes traditional perception limitations by suppressing crosstalk, overexposure, and missed detections caused by materials with high reflectivity, expanding robotic operation possibilities.
Meanwhile, with outstanding designs that include an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, a wide operating temperature range of –10°C to 55°C, along with highly efficient GMSL2 serializer and FAKRA connectors, AC2 not only delivers excellent performance but is also safe and reliable—making it the best perception partner for robots operations and applications across all scenarios and working conditions.

The AI-Ready ecosystem now supports AC2 use cases with new open-source algorithms, including pose estimation and human skeleton recognition.
Designed for robot developers, the AI-Ready ecosystem provides the AC Studio toolkit, Wiki documentation, and multi-scenario datasets, supporting mainstream robotic computing platforms such as Rockchip RK3588, NVIDIA Orin series, and chips from Horizon Robotics. With abundant online resources, developers can start building projects immediately after receiving AC2, accelerating the delivery of innovative solutions.
